| SmartTrac® Supplemental Input/Output |
SmartTrac® Supplemental Input/Output connects press instrumentation to the SmartTrac control system, allowing critical process measurements to be captured from active press operations.
Instrument measurements may include mold temperature, pressure, material temperature, vacuum, LVDT, or any other input in the range of ±10 VDC.
Optimize Press Performance
Each measurement may be saved for later analysis with the SmartView™ Intelligent Process Analysis software.
By correlating the trends in ancillary sensor readings with their effect on cure impedance curves, new strategies are developed to speed press production and improve part quality.
Once the optimal press conditions have been determined, SmartTrac’s display will assist the press operator in maintaining those conditions.
Easily Configured
Once installed, the new sensors are configured quickly on the SmartTrac controller screen.
Each sensor is assigned a unique name and value description for automatically labeling on reports and graphs.
During press operations, the supplemental sensors may be individually enabled or disabled, and monitored in real time.
Enabling New Strategies
SmartTrac Supplemental Input/Output brings new insight into press operations by revealing the complex relationships of press conditions on the cure process, enabling operational strategies for optimal press productivity and part quality.
